Now on YouTube

I’ve posted some demo video examples of rototooning on YouTube. Here are the links:

Automatic Cartoon and Outline Effects
Attack of the 50 Ft Woman Like a Schwab Commercial
Animated Spiderman 3 Trailer

Our first comment back was from DavideoDesign who had a number one video on YouTube and Google Video during 2006 and who was favorably impressed. So that’s pretty cool!

I’ll have higher quality versions of these up in Video Demos section of the site in the next day or so. Can’t do it today, because I’m crunching to get ToonIt! officially released next week.

I’ve also posted a couple of these to Google Video and MyToons. We’ll be trying other video demos and other video-sharing sites, especially DailyMotion, as I work on getting the online marketing thing figured out. Regarding YouTube promotion specifically, Nalts of Will Video for Food gave some helpful suggestions here. I’ll let you know how well they work.

    Hi:

    A couple of thoughts.

If placed in the right hands, this effect will allow creative people to interpret the common-place in new ways.

I can foresee how this form-shaping look will enable an audiences to view modern dance with new eyes.

My only concern is that the technology not be employed to mask bad camera technique.

    Bravo!
